See every Facebook ad a store is running right now
Store Detector checks the Meta Ad Library for the store you are on and tells you how many ads are live, when they started, and links you straight to the creatives.
What the panel shows
- Count of ads currently live in the Meta Ad Library
- A direct link into the Ad Library, pre-filtered to that advertiser
- Whether the store is advertising at all — often the fastest signal of intent
We report what the public Meta Ad Library returns. It does not include spend, and advertisers can run ads under a page name that differs from the store name — in which case the count can read low.
Getting a real answer out of it
Use ad count as a spend proxy
A store running dozens of live ads is spending. A store running none is either coasting on organic or is not a serious competitor yet.
Jump to the creatives
The Ad Library link opens the actual running creatives, so you can see the angles and offers a store has committed budget to.
Pair it with the traffic trend
Rising traffic plus a lot of live ads means paid acquisition is working. Rising ads with flat traffic usually means it is not.

Frequently asked questions
Does this show how much a store spends on ads?
No. Meta does not publish spend for commercial ads, so nobody can show you a real spend figure for a normal ecommerce advertiser. Ad volume is the honest proxy, and that is what we show.
Why do some stores show zero ads?
Either they genuinely are not running Meta ads, or their ads run under a page name we cannot confidently match to the domain. We would rather show zero than attribute someone else’s ads to a store.
Does it cover TikTok or Google ads?
Not today. The Meta Ad Library is the only large ad archive that is genuinely public, so it is the only one we report on.
