Yes. No account, no credit card, no search limit for normal use. There is a per-connection rate limit to stop scripted abuse, which you will not hit by hand.

The rankings answer “which stores are big”. This answers “who already sells this product, and at what price”. Rankings start from the store; this starts from the product idea.

That is what it is for. Seller count tells you how crowded an idea already is, and the price spread tells you where the market sits and whether there is room underneath or above it — before you order stock or spend on ads.

Because the catalog does not return them. We measured it across several searches and the rating field came back empty every time, so showing a rating — or a “minimum rating” filter — would be inventing data. If Shopify starts publishing ratings, they will appear here.
