Accounts & sign-in
Store Detector is free, and the core detection works without an account. Signing in is optional — it unlocks member features such as organic keywords and saved favorites, and it is how you connect the Store Detector MCP server so an AI assistant can query our Shopify data for you.
In the Chrome extension
Sign in with your email address and a one-time code — there is no password. A session token is kept locally in your browser.
On the MCP server
Sign in with Google. Store Detector requests only the
openid, email and profile scopes, and receives
just your email address and Google account ID. We use
them for one purpose: to identify your account, link it to your subscription, and count
your monthly usage.
We are not issued a Google refresh token, so Store Detector cannot access your Google account after you finish signing in. We never read Gmail, Drive, Calendar, photos or contacts, and we do not sell or share your data. Full detail in our Privacy Policy and Terms.
